One Man Dead In Northern Maine
Snowmobile Accident

A Caribou man is dead after his snowmobile struck a car in New Sweden.

State police say 55-year old Larry Doody of Caribou failed to stop his sled
where trail ITS 83 crosses the Jemtland Road in New Sweden.
Doody hit the front passenger side of a car driven by 27-year old
Joshua Burden of New Sweden. Doody was wearing a helment but
was thrown for his sled and died on scene.
Joshua Burden and his passenger were not injured.
